Katlin received her Master's in Art Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art London, UK where she tailored her studies to the trends and idiosyncrasies of the Canadian art market. Her Master’s Dissertation explored how global megabrands could impact the perception of regional art markets through primary research and analysis of the Canadian auction market. Previously, she earned her Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the University of Ottawa Majoring in History and Theory of Art as well as Majoring in History with specialization in twentieth century Canadian sociopolitical history.
With six years of professional background in customer and client services with an international private golf club corporation, Katlin played an integral role in client and member relations, hospitality, and club management in the Ottawa/Gatineau area.
Before joining Consignor Canadian Fine Art, Katlin devoted volunteer time in London as Canadian artist liaison for academic artist talks with Goodenough College, in Ottawa for Nuit Blanche, and with Art Toronto. She has written for The Art and Science Journal as well as Art/ctualite, a Parisbased online arts and culture journal. Her writing focuses on critical art business issues both at the global and national level in Canada.
